New Wave Nostalgia Band Poster
One of the greatest New Wave shows ever held in the St. Louis area. The Heels were one of the very best bands of this time. The Styrenes were a performance art group led by Venus Styrene, a true artist and genius in the loving, open Andy Warhol vein rather than the conceited asshole vein. The Rev. Peeve led the assembled fans through versions of Kumbaya as we sang from mimiegraphed sheets he passed out. The movies featured the Heels and the Styrenes converting heathens or something. It was more entertainment than anyone really deserved. For 2 lousy bucks!
