1958
I was born in early November, on a Sunday afternoon, at 3:15 p.m.
At the insistence of my Paternal great-grandmother Rosalie, I'm baptized
in the Catholic Church. My Catholic cousins Barb and Mike Garavaglia
are my godparents.
Father: Anthony Joseph Patti. His father, my Grandfather, was Augustino
Patti, who died from stomach cancer when my father was only a boy. Gus
was a popular fellow, and he sold Fords at Mendenhall Ford on Market
Street. His widow, my Grandmother Virginia, died a few years ago.
Mother: Jean Patti. Her mother was Ina and her father was Bill, both
of whom I grew up around. My Grandma died in the 1970s and my Grandpa
died in the 80s.
I have an Aunt, my Mom's younger sister, named Sue and two uncles,
Bill, my mom's brother and Tino, my father's younger brother.
I have an older brother named Gus, a younger sister named JoAnn, now also deceased, and
my parents had been married just a little more than 2 years when I was
born, a week after my Mom's 18th birthday.
